“Gallery E” is an area dedicated to expression, emotion, education and experimentation. In this room you will find temporary presentations, conversations and studios where you can let your voice be heard.

Every painting has its own story. The mini-exhibition “Young at heart” lets you discover – or invent – the stories of the children and families portrayed. The paintings on the walls speak to the visitors. On the work tables, visitors of all ages can draw or invent a story behind the paintings. The results will be put on display in the gallery. The little ones can use the feeler boxes to search for objects that can be found in the paintings. Or you can take a selfie in a painting using the MSK snapchat filters.

“Young at heart!” is part of the family route, with poems and texts tailored to children spread throughout the museum’s galleries.
