This is the first large solo exhibition from Dutch designer Maarten Baas.

His pieces exist on the interface between art and design. They are theatre decor, but then for real life: humorous and rebellious furniture that cannot be made industrially.

The oeuvre of Maarten Baas does not stand still. The Houdini of Dutch design is impossible to pin down. You have to try and find him between rationality and feeling, between nature and nurture, and between freedom and restrictions.
