Pagne Africain takes you into the rich world of the African textile culture.
The exhibition introduces you to the versatile collection of African fabrics of curator Stella Nyanchama Okemwa.
You can also see some pieces from the museum collection: old textile samples of Ghent manufacturers intended for the African market. An almost unprecedented piece of textile history.
You can find this exhibition in the museum’s textile department.
