Henk Mol has long been a supporter of “Buren van de Abdij”. In 2014, he left Herberg Macharius, located next to the abbey, to embark on a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

During his Camino, he documented his journey through photographs for his travel blog. You can admire the result of everything he encountered along the way and captured on camera in the refectory of St Bavo’s Abbey. This travel journal invites you to join an unforgettable walk filled with wonder and reflection.

Are you driving to Ghent? First check whether you may enter the city centre with your vehicle. Clean vehicles may enter the city centre free of charge, polluting vehicles have to pay. Is your vehicle allowed to enter, but do you not have a Belgian or Dutch number plate? You will ALWAYS have to register!
