This gastronomic restaurant on the Graslei has one of the oldest façades of Ghent, 't Spijker.

It is all in a name: Belga Queen serves Belgian dishes with only first-rate Belgian ingredients. The interior combines old elements from the 13th century grain storehouse with modern architecture.

The interior of restaurant Belga Queen is a perfect match for the remnants of the medieval grain warehouse “’t Spijker”. This 13th-century grain warehouse is situated along the medieval port, where the sailors and grain merchants of Ghent made a very good living. Ghent had a monopoly for grain storing, which meant that part of the grain that passed through the city had to be stored and sold here.
