Geta Brătescu

The studio is myself

This first major retrospective in Belgium of the Romanian artist Geta Brătescu offers an overview of the exceptionally varied body of work from the now 91-year-old Brătescu. The main thread is her approach to the artists’ studio as a space for reflection, experimentation and (self-)criticism.
