The Lebanese musician Marcel Khalife is a household name in the Arab world and one of the world’s most famous oud players.
Tonight Flanders Symphony Orchestra will perform “Suite for Strings” by F. Bridge, “Adagio for Strings” by S. Barber, the premiere of a piece by Joris Blanckaert and “Tabula Rasa” by Arvo Pärt.
Tonight Spectra Ensemble led by Filip Rathé will be playing “Bereshit” for large ensemble by Matthias Pintscher and “Sur Incises” for three pianos, three harps and three percussionists by Pierre Boulez.
