An invisible wall winds its way around Ghent. Ramparts have been replaced by a ring road used by thousands of vehicles.
Photographs, taken by the occupier during the war and belonging to the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK/IRPA) are juxtaposed with textual and visual material from the Ghent City Archive.
