Event Center Scala offers more than 750 square metres of multi-purpose conference space that is able to accommodate meetings and events with up to 350 participants or so. Named after Belgian rivers, the nine rooms are fully modular, thanks to their movable walls. Switching between a large plenary set-up and smaller workshop or breakout formats is therefore very easy. All rooms are equipped with the necessary audiovisual infrastructure (projection, sound system, microphones, etc.) and free Wi-Fi. What is more, the ‘Schelde Lounge’ is also an ideal pre-function area for reception, registration or networking opportunities

Food & Drinks

The in-house catering team offers various 'meeting packages' that can be customized with additional drinks or dishes.

In addition, there are also two restaurants in the venue. At ARNO ristorante, you can enjoy gourmet Tuscan dishes, while Brasserie STROOM serves Belgian dishes with an international twist.

Accessibility

Event Center Scala is close to the E17 and E40 motorways, so it is easy to reach by car. Extensive parking is also available on site, including charging points for electric cars. What is more, the facility is surrounded by several hotels (Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent, Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Courtyard by Marriott), offering over 400 rooms in total. That makes it an ideal location for multi-day conferences that include overnight stays.
