Hotel Falligan is a majestic town house on Kouter square. Hector Falligan and his wife bought a patrician house on Kouter square in the mid-18th century. They had it completely rebuilt on top of the original 15th-century cellars.
After the Falligans’ death, the house came into the hands of the current owner, the Royal Literary Society.
The beautiful rococo interiors have mostly been preserved. Parisian painter Christophe Huet decorated a newly added room with magnificent murals in the 19th century.
