The City’s official reception of your conference participants proves that Ghent is the ideal location to organise your association conference. Upon request, the mayor or one of the municipal executives will welcome the conference participants in the most beautiful room of the town hall.

The City likes to use all its assets to prove that conferences are welcome in Ghent. Are you planning on organising an association congress in our city soon? Don’t forget to request an official reception at the town hall. The mayor or one of the municipal executives will receive up to 225 guests (300 if security is hired) free of charge in the stunning Pacificatiezaal hall. You will receive a warm welcome and may join a small reception organised by the city council. If your organisation prefers to work with a caterer of your choice, the value of the offered reception will be reimbursed.
