Restaurant Gillis owes its name to city architect Gillis de Suttere, who drew the plans for Ghent’s Great Butchers’ Hall in the 15th century. The restaurant enables Bram to combine all his passions: his butchery skills, his love for top-quality meat, Italian wine and making his guests feel at home. He works with his partner Jozefien by his side and with trusted chef Ollie at the grill.

Gillis specialises in pure entrecote and offers a selection of more than 10 different breeds, each with a distinctive flavour.

The wine list offers more than 500 wines.
