Nowadays coffee bars are everywhere but this is first coffee bar in Ghent.
It is right in the city centre and has been serving excellent coffee since the very beginning, which can also be purchased and is always topped with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Sometimes it’s difficult to find a table in this small bar, but it has become custom to join other coffee lovers at their tables. Cosiness at its best!
Mokabon first started as a coffee roastery in 1937. Since its foundation, coffee blends have been freshly roasted every week according to the authentic recipe of Italian founder and immigrant Erminio Mazzaro.
