How does it work?
Step 1: Open the Bolt app and search for an available bike on the map.
Step 2:View the battery percentage, the action radius and rates (unlocking cost + cost per minute).
Step 3: Not found the bike immediately? Use the Ring option to activate the sound signal!
Step 4: Unlock the e-bike by scanning the QR code on the bike with the app. No result? Then manually enter the bike number. The cost is calculated per minute and stops the moment you end your ride.
Step 5: Need a break? Please note, the cost per minute continues.
Do you want to do a trip with friends or family? That's also possible. Using one account, you can rent several bikes at once. Good to know: Renting a bike between 7pm and 5am? Then the Bolt app will first check your reaction time. This quick test is like an alcohol test: if you react too slowly, you won't be able to borrow a bike.

The zones are clearly indicated on the map in the app. Before departing, check whether your route runs through one of these zones.
You need an internet connection to find a bike, unlock it and to end the ride.
When you want to end your ride, the app opens an overview of parking locations. Then you know exactly where you can leave the bike.
Do you want to take a break along the way? Then remember that the standard cost per minute continues during your break.
Yes, various subscriptions are available for those who wish to use the bikes on multiple occasions. For more information about the options, please consult the app.
