The number of tourists is peaking worldwide, including in the Flemish art cities. This boom means a source of prosperity and pride for Ghent. However, the tourist flows of the future also give us food for thought.

What ideas, hopes or dreams do you have of the tourism policy  of the future? The City of Ghent wants to gather all ideas and perspectives, and therefore organises a participation project titled 'Tourism of the Future'.

This participation project will take place in three steps: 

  1. City Debate
  2. Discussion of Results and Resident Survey
  3. Workshops
