The city's medieval skyline

You are in the historical heart of Ghent. This is where it all began. Wherever you look you will see important, interesting and impressive buildings and monuments.
For centuries, they have been looking out over the city: the towers of St Nicholas’ Church, the Belfry and St Bavo’s Cathedral. The best place to admire (and photograph!) the city’s unique skyline is on St Michael’s Bridge. Each of the three monuments can be visited separately.
