Van Eyck An Optical Revolution

Once in a lifetime

From 1 February until 30 April 2020, the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent MSK is organising the largest Jan van Eyck exhibition ever. Worldwide only about twenty works by this artistic genius have been preserved, of which at least half will be on view at the MSK. Along with works from Van Eyck’s studio, copies of lost works by Van Eyck and more than 100 other master-pieces from the Late Middle Ages, they tell the story of his optical revolution.
