Lousbergs is the castle’s largest room and is adjacent to the Blauwe Poorte room. The main activities of events organised on the ground floor take place in this room in Classicist style.
Blauwe Poorte is Maaltebruggekasteel’s reception room, from where you have a stunning view of the English landscape garden, named Maaltepark.
The castle is easily accessible by public transport (tram from Flanders Expo to Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station) and by car (E40 motorway between Brussels and Ostend).
