Leopoldskazerne
Barracks The Provincial Government Building is located in Leopoldskazerne Barracks, an impressive 19th-century building that has been transformed into a lively meeting place. Once a military barracks, it is now a lively centre for innovation, collaboration and knowledge exchange. In addition to the Provincial Government Building, there is also a hotel, training centre, children's nursery and a range of homes on this site. The robust architecture and rich history of this city district add a unique touch to any congress or event

Available spaces
The Provincial Government Building offers an auditorium with permanent theatre arrangement, a delightful foyer for receptions and a council hall with a semi-circular arrangement. In addition, there are various small and large meeting rooms, all equipped with smartboards. Ideal for large conferences as well as smaller meetings.

For large conferences, this venue can be seamlessly combined with other nearby venues. In fact, ICC Ghent, and the cultural venues S.M.A.K., MSK, GUM and St Peter's Abbey are all within walking distance.

Food & drinks
The Provincial Government Building operates with a fixed caterer. Resto Leo offers a variety of catering options, with a focus on healthy and fresh ingredients from East-Flanders. Coffee, tea and water are always provided in the meeting rooms. Extended coffee breaks, receptions and meals are only possible in the designated areas.

Accessibility
The Provincial Government Building is easily reached thanks to the underground fee-paying car park and the close proximity of public transport. Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station is within walking distance, offering fast connections to Brussels, Antwerp and other Belgian cities.
