A varied activity programme focuses on dark themes like shame, taboo, and mourning, including an exhibition, talks, workshops, performances, art installations, guided tours, breakfasts, treasure hunts, and more.. Guides show visitors the museum’s catacombs and tell them the dark stories behind the items in the collection. The new collection Centre in the museum cellars houses thousands of jars, skeletons, taxidermised animals and a lot more. Pause for a moment at Altar, a colorful composition of flowers and candles set up as a memorial monument, in DARK Art. On the first Sunday, you are welcome to join DARK Breakfast, DARK Matinée, and the DARK workshop Relational Objects & Somatic Memory.
