How to reach Ghent?

Want to explore Ghent? Then come as you wish: by car, bus, train or even by plane – Brussels Airport is less than an hour’s drive away. You can easily enter the city by boat as well. Once you have arrived, you are in the ideal place to explore the wider region: thanks to its central location in Flanders, Ghent is well connected to the Flemish cities of art and areas of natural beauty. Want to soak up the city vibes? Then explore the car-free zone in the city centre, where pedestrians and cyclists rule the streets.

If you come by car or if you drive a bus, then check whether your vehicle may enter the low-emission zone (foreign number plates must always be registered!).
