    How to reach Ghent?

Ghent is situated at the point where the E17 and E40 motorways cross and can therefore easily be reached by car and by bus. The city also has two railway stations and the international airport at Zaventem (Brussels Airport) is less than an hour away. This means that travelling by train and by plane is certainly an option. This makes Ghent an ideal point of departure for anyone who also wants to explore the other Flemish art cities of the province of East Flanders.
