Would you rather park for free? On the edge of the city you will find P+R, or ‘Park + Ride’, car parks. You can park your car here for free and hop on the tram or bus to the city centre.

During the Ghent Festivities (17-26 July) different traffic and parking rules apply. Check all the information here before your arrival.
The Ghent city centre (the area enclosed by the ring road) has been designated as a low emission zone (LEZ) with the purpose of improving the quality of the air.
The P+R car parks below are outside the LEZ and are therefore a perfect alternative if your car is no longer allowed to enter the city center.
