Democrazy, the only music club in Belgium without its own auditorium, is an itinerant music club that has offered a high-quality selection of pop and rock in the broadest sense of the word for over forty years. Democrazy has brought a baffling array of artists to the stage.
In addition, Democrazy organises concerts and festivals in genres like hip-hop, pop, techno, disco, house, EBM, alternative rock, folk, electronic music, metal, dance, funk, soul, reggae, etc.
In its 40-year existence, it has seen countless artists perform, including The Jesus Lizard, Sebadoh, Ween, Melvins, Afghan Wigs, Nirvana, Jamie XX, Bonobo, Mr. Scruff, Madlib, Richie Hawtin, Marianne Faithfull, Roni Size, dEUS, Amenra, Soulwax, ’t Hof van Commerce, Balthazar, Squarepusher, Autechre, Wu-Tang Clan, Charles Bradley, Michael Kiwanuka, Lee Perry, Daniel Johnston, Sharon Jones, Nils Frahm and Peter Doherty.
