The Ghent cycling map is a free map of Ghent featuring urban cycle routes based on nodes. It connects the historical city centre with the surrounding neighbourhoods and outlying districts, making it easy to reach them too. This cycle network connects seamlessly with the East Flanders cycle network.
How can you recognise the Ghent Cycle Network?
Within the city limits, the nodes are marked with blue-grey signs. Each sign shows the node number as well as the direction to the next nodes. It also states the journey time and destination – handy, isn’t it? This way, you can plan your route in advance and make your cycle trip as long as you like.
Ghent Cycling Map
Plan your own quick and safe route through Ghent city centre. The nodes also show the estimated journey time.
Available in Dutch only.
This brochure is also available on request at the tourist office.
What is the difference between these nodes and those of the East Flanders Cycle Network?
The node signs in East Flanders have the same layout but are green. Using these nodes, you can create recreational cycle routes across the entire province. This map is not free and can be purchased at the Information Office. The nodes of the Ghent Cycle Network connect seamlessly with those of East Flanders.
