Ghent by night is special, and not just during the triennial Light Festival. The whole year round, as soon the sun has set, you can enjoy the Ghent Light Plan, architecturally designed city lighting that literally puts urban landmarks in the spotlight. This plan was the first of its kind and has won a number of international awards. At the end of the year and during the music festival OdeGand, the city’s lighting is turned up a notch.
