Istanbul Expres stands for five days of Turkish music in Ghent. It allows you to experience life in a metropolis to the rhythm of live music. You will be moved, touched and compelled to dance by the music.

This festival brings all aspects of the vibrant musical city of Istanbul to Ghent. The programme includes the Turkish indie pop of Can Bonomo, Kalben and Göksel as well as the sensuous psychedelic rock of Gaye Su Akyol. You become acquainted with the exuberant dancing to the sound of Fasil music. In addition, you can enjoy the rich Ottoman tradition of Incesaz and the melting pot of cultures of the Bright Bridges festival production.
