The Sintbaafsfeesten came about through a cooperation between vzw Feestcomité Sint-Baafs and their 'neighbours' the NTGent and St. Bavo's Cathedral. For four days there are concerts on the programme, but also many other activities. For instance, you can take part in theatre walks (subject to registration), dance along with the children's disco or sing along with Queen's greatest hits, played by the city carillonneur on the Belfry's carillon.
This activity takes place on a location within the low emission zone
Are you driving to Ghent? First check whether you may enter the city centre with your vehicle. Clean vehicles may enter the city centre free of charge, polluting vehicles have to pay. Is your vehicle allowed to enter, but do you not have a Belgian or Dutch number plate? You will ALWAYS have to register!
