This summer, you can admire the work of Ghent-based press photographer Frederiek Vande Velde in the house of Ghent’s very first ‘street photographer’. Past and present meet in the unique setting of Huis Arnold Vander Haeghen.
“Vangst” (Capture) is the first exhibition of a series entitled ‘De zomer van Arnold’ (Arnold’s summer). Frederiek Vande Velde records the essence of daily life in Ghent. Each image tells a story and is captured with an eye for detail and emotion. This exhibition displays a selection of his most powerful images.
