Long before the hype, Chinastraat breathed new life into the Oude Dokken area.

There are few things that do not happen in Chinastraat. Exhibitions take place, video clips for Stromae and Oscar and the Wolf are shot, and of course this is also the place where Bar Bricolage raises the temperature every summer. (And you thought it was because of global warming ...)

In the 2010s, Chinastraat also became a delightfully unique party location with concepts such as Splén, Roots of Minimal, Mo’ Blood and Hip Hop Hooray.
