KAROOT is an eatery in Ghent’s Brugse Poort neighbourhood. All dishes served are vegan and have gluten-free alternatives. The restaurant is especially focused on using local and ecologically responsible products.
Both at lunch and dinner, you can opt for a daily special, for which you pay a free contribution. You’ll get a blank bill, so you can decide how much you want to pay. This way, everyone who walks through the door can enjoy a hot meal. The daily special changes every 2 to 3 days.
In addition, there is a fixed, seasonal lunch and dinner menu. You can also choose from the range of tapas, soups, desserts, ice creams, cold and hot drinks, beers and wines.
There is a play corner for children to have fun in, while parents keep an eye on them.
