Café ’t Kanon is a pub situated just a few steps away from Vrijdagmarkt. It used to be a fashion boutique in the 1970s and a traditional pub for many years after that. It has now been transformed into a trendy grand café.
‘t Kanon serves food and drinks every day of the week and works with Dok Brewing Company for its beer supply. If you prefer a cocktail, you should certainly try the Kanon cocktail. In the kitchen, chef Tarek prepares his trendy snacks. One of them is a genuine cannonball! Weather permitting, you can enjoy your drink and/or snack in the outdoor area.
