This exhibition explores the field of tension between art and science. A selection of 15 artists from the book ‘OVERLAP. The No Man’s Land between Art & Science’ and Jonge Academie enter into a dialogue with 15 scientific objects from the heritage collections of GUM and KU Leuven.

Science and the material results of scientific research can also be aesthetical, and their philosophical or poetic qualities are often undervalued. What if we were to look at the academic heritage objects as art? And what if we were to focus on the analytical or epistemological capacity of a work of art?

The exhibition is part of your museum visit, so you do not have to buy an extra ticket.
