Tavontuur

Tavontuur organic store is located close to the Castle of the Counts and is easily accessible by bicycle or public transport. This store is part, together with 3 other organic stores, of the organic farm Blauw Kasteel, a castle estate of over 36 hectares in Scheldewindeke. Mainly vegetables are grown on the fields of this domain. There is also room for a historical kitchen garden with forgotten vegetables, herbs and small fruit as well as a standard orchard. The Red Ardennes scheep graze peacefully on the meadows.

Every Tuesday and Friday, fresh vegetables are delivered directly from the fields tot the shop. Talk about a short supply chain!
