It looked like an ordinary bar on the outside, and in fact on the inside as well. But at the same time, Zodiac was one of the most legendary and hidden house clubs in Ghent.

What made it so special? On a week-night you could see Cajmere, the alter ego of Green Velvet, behind the decks, and no-one seemed to take notice. And people were certainly not queuing – as they nowadays do from time to time to buy chips from Frituur Tartaar.

Zodiac was often the first stop on a Ghent party animal’s rounds, so it is undeniably here that many a wild night was kicked off.
