“Unhinged” is a new presentation by the Museum Dr. Guislain. It tells the story of fools, madmen and mental well-being. The exhibition also sheds light on the evolution and influence of relationships of power in psychiatry.
In five different sections, you will learn more about “abnormal” behaviour and being locked up in a mental institution. The exhibition also discusses the division between body and mind. It’s a combination of unique objects, small anecdotes, grand theories and hidden testimonies.
The information continues beneath the illustrations.
