In this exhibition, you will find out more about “Jardin Zoologique de Gand” or the Ghent zoo. Contemporary visual artists engage in dialogue with archival materials at Zebrastraat. The zoo’s history is covered as well.
The exhibition displays works by Alexi Williams Wynn (UK), Carsten Höller (BE), Chaim van Luit (NL), Filip Van Dingenen (BE), Guy Slabbinck (BE), Katleen Vinck (BE), Maarten Vanden Eynde (BE), Maya Zack (IE), Nick Ervinck (BE), Shikh Sabbir Alam (BD), Tom Liekens (BE) and Wesley Meuris (BE).
For this exhibition, Zebrastraat cooperated closely with the Ghent University Library, the Ghent University Museum, the S.M.A.K. and KASKcinema.
