This cosy bistro with a French atmosphere is located in a historical building in the shadow of St James’ church in Ghent. This French influence is noticeable in the interior as well as in the dishes. Chef Bernard ‘Bolle’ Baudewijns prepares numerous dishes in the traditional manner, but finishes them with a surprising modern touch. The fixed menu of Steendam 66 consists of various meat and fish dishes, supplemented with seasonal suggestions.

The grilled king crab is one of the specialties of the house. You can see the chef prepare these dishes in the open kitchen.
