At the foot of St Michael’s bridge is the Sphinx Cinema, one of Ghent’s art house cinemas, with five screens and a neighbouring bar with a terrace.
You can go there to see Belgian and European films, world cinema, independent American films and a wide choice of family movies.
Sphinx Cinema hosts several festivals, including Film Fest Ghent and Courtisane, but also organises film events itself, such as Anima, Pinx and cineMAS.
