The historical heart of Ghent is a wonderful place to shop thanks to its pedestrian shopping streets and impressive monuments. The area around Korenmarkt, Veldstraat and Langemunt is traditionally the main shopping area where you can find shops from large and small store chains.
Korenmarkt Square is right in the middle with its unique shopping concept De Post. At the end of Langemunt, you come to Vrijdagmarkt Square. This is the ideal spot to stop at an outdoor café or enjoy a coffee or a local dish. From there you can stroll through the endless alleys or explore shopping area Rond Sint-Jacobs.
