Kuiperskano gives you the unique opportunity to explore Ghent in a Canadian canoe. Via the back door of the building, you jump straight into the boat!
Many canoes are heavy, clumsy and don’t navigate very smoothly… But Kuiperskano’s canoes are made from smooth plastic, are light and have a streamlined shape, which makes paddling very enjoyable. You can choose from canoes for one, two or four people. This way, the entire family can participate.
And to make it even more enjoyable, you can also rent small canoes with an eco-friendly silent engine. Then you can enjoy the view even more.
Blue-green algae
Blue-green algae are present in several places in Ghent's waterways. Swimming is prohibited and water sports such as kayaking, canoeing and SUP are not recommended. (No blue-green algae found in the Blaarmeersen).
