Unearthed Conversation
The Atacama Desert, located at the mouth of the Loa River in northern Chile, is the subject of this exhibition by Chilean artists Francisca García and Mario Navarro. It's home to archaeological finds from the ancient indigenous Chango people. The landscape shows some similarities to that of Mars and it's where you'll find one of the world's largest telescopes. The Chilean documentary film 'Aquí vivieron' and images captured by NASA's Mars Perseverance rover inspired the artists to explore how the landscape's past, present and future converge.
