Public Transport in Ghent

What if you haven’t got a CityCard Ghent with all its great benefits?! You will find a ‘Lijnwinkel’, or ticket shop, at Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station, Korenmarkt and Gent-Zuid (Woodrow Wilsonplein) where you can buy tickets. Always buy your ticket in advance from the Lijnwinkel or a machine at the tram or bus stop.
Tram lines 1, 2 and 4 take you from one end of Ghent to the other, passing right through the city centre.
Tickets are only for sale at the ticket machines or in the Lijnwinkel. From 4/05/2020 onwards it is mandatory to wear a face mask (12 years and older) on public transport.
