Herbert Foundation is a private foundation for contemporary art in Ghent and houses the collection and the archive of Annick and Anton Herbert. The foundation can be found in a renovated industrial building at Coupure in Ghent.

Started in the 1970s, the collection includes works by some 50 artists. They were part of international movements, such as Concept Art, Minimal Art and Arte Povera, followed by the multimedia art of the 1980s and 1990s. In addition to artworks, the collection also consists of an extensive selection of archive items such as books about artists, art magazines, invitations, posters, films and music. The Herbert Foundation offers a constantly changing programme of exhibitions and events exploring the collection and connecting it to the present world.
