“Forbidden for 18+” is a travelling exhibition project reserved for children and youngsters between the ages of 5 and 19, giving them the opportunity to admire some fifty lithographs. Well-known contemporary artists from around the world have created lithographs for this exhibition, which is organised for the eleventh time. Over the course of the years, a total of 16 Belgian artists have contributed to the project.

Some fifty works are now being exhibited for children and adolescents aged between 5 and 19. They learn how lithographs are made and are encouraged to explain why a particular work fascinates them and to make up a title for it.

Ready for a first purchase? Young visitors are given the opportunity to purchase a work of art at an affordable price, with the assistance of a museum staff member. The name of the artist will only be revealed upon delivery of the work they purchased. Adults who would like to see the lithographs for themselves will be admitted to the exhibition on Sunday 29 September between 5.00 and 6.00 pm.
